The Trainer's Pit
First off, I want to say welcome to The Trainer's Pit and thank you for surfing onto my
little portion of the web. Cyberspace is huge and you could have opted to do
anything with your time but I am very happy that you have decided to spend some
time here, and hopefully this web site will help enlighten, entertain, and
provide you with some useful resources as a professional technical trainer.
I have established myself as one of the leading trainers of new technology.
I continue to push the boundaries of technology, developing exciting and innovative
training sessions for the global market. I have a culture of innovation where my
students can make a difference and I am confident together we can become a rapidly expanding team.
In fact, if you take a look at the
dedication page, I’ll go into more detail about why this Web site fills a
critical need for trainers who work day in and day out to make sure our tech’s,
system administrators, network engineers, planners, designers and IT managers
are trained and ready for today's ever changing world of operating systems,
hardware, software, applications and that carbon based life form we call
OK, OK…I bet you might be saying,
"Whoa! Wait just a minute. I’m not a trainer!" That’s cool… Welcome anyway. You’ll get a
very good insight into some of the stuff that makes trainer’s tick, the things
we go through, the issues that we work with every day, and I still think there will
be some entertaining things that will impact everyone in the technology world.
Now if you have no interest in
technology or training, this might not be the best place for you but it’s my
hopes that this will be a heavily frequented site for trainers and a cool place
to just “hang out.” I also want to seriously thank my Mom, who knows a hell
of a lot more about web design stuff than I could ever
hope to know. She is the designer, developer and in fact, runs this show. I just came up
with the ideas and information and will provide the content. She is the one that
puts it all together. (Thanks, Mom.)
I’m also hoping that my
fellow trainers from around the world will feel free to make this site a better
experience, and anyone who would like to contribute is more than welcome to do
so. Just click on this link and contribute.
Thank you again for stopping by, and
please take time to check out the dedication page and if you find that you are
NOT checking this site at least once a week, and you are a professional IT
technical trainer, let us know why and we’ll work to give you what you need and
This is a work of passion and love, privately funded, and we aren't going
to sell out to any advertisers, marketing goons or attempt to push products.
I’ve seen enough spy ware, ad-ware and pop-ups than I care to admit, and yes,
marketing is important – someone has to buy the stuff - but there are plenty of
marketing-oriented sites – THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
